Back in 2017, I remember watching one or two games of the World Baseball Classic. I don’t remember the baseball being this good or the games being this exciting.
This is especially true of Pool D. Venezuela, The Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico all in the same pool made for some exceptionally exciting baseball. The Venezuela vs Puerto Rico game was some of the best baseball I have watched since last years World Series. Pool C wasn’t so bad either. USA and Mexico as the heavy hitters and Canada and even Great Britain making a showing.
I can’t wait until the Semi finals where I get to see Japan duke it out with either Puerto Rico or Mexico and Cuba challenge either the USA or Venezuela.
